Green Hill Presbyterian Church 3112 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE
The GHFFO will be part of the Green Hill Festival that will take place March 13 to 16. Guest soloist will be flutist Ellen Fisher. Our beloved Timothy Clinch will conduct, and we will be joined by cellist Mark Ward and pianist Donna DeLaurentis. The festival will include rehearsals, a chamber music concert with the guest artists, and the final flute orchestra concert on March 16. Flute orchestra repertoire will be the Strauss Die Fledermaus Overture, the Vivaldi Concerto: La tempesta di mare, Dvorak’s Finale from Serenade Op. 22, and the Andante and Scherzo from Schubert’s Symphony No. 9, The Great.
No auditions necessary!
Participants will be placed in sections.
Bass and alto flutes are available.
All music will be available Monday, January 28, 2008.
Fee for the Festival: $200.00 Flute Studio
students.
Other students: $275.00.

Attendance at rehearsals is not mandatory. Please remember that regular attendance by all participants is the
most important ingredient for an outstanding performance. CD’s of all music will be available. LISTEN
AND COUNT YOUR PART WITH THE CD. Classes will be available to teach these all-important skills as
needed.
Please remember: Fees for the GHFFO cover all conductor and musicians fees, music, copies, programs
and supplies.
